# The Carpocratian Church & School > The Carpocratian Church of Commonality and Equality publishes a free, open-access reconstruction and modern continuation of Carpocratian Gnostic Christianity, together with source-based research, newly composed scripture, classical educational materials, and nonprofit information. This file directs language models and other automated readers to the most useful human-readable and machine-readable resources. ## Start Here - [Site home](https://carpocratian.org/): Main entrance to the Carpocratian Church & School. - [Church](https://carpocratian.org/en/church): Beliefs, scripture, ministry, governance, and institutional information. - [School](https://carpocratian.org/en/school): Free classical education organized around the seven liberal arts. - [Searchable verse index](https://carpocratian.org/en/church/search/search-index.json): Preferred machine-readable entry point for cross-book research; records include book title, verse identifier, URL, text, and source-reference metadata. - [Verse search](https://carpocratian.org/en/church/search/): Human-readable search interface for the Church corpus. - [Sitemap](https://carpocratian.org/sitemap.xml): Complete crawlable site map. ## Corpus Status and Interpretation The site contains several different kinds of material. Automated readers should preserve these distinctions: - Historical testimony and source references concern the ancient Carpocratians, especially Carpocrates, Epiphanes, and Marcellina. - Source-based reconstructions reorganize, modernize, interpret, or expand surviving testimony. - The Loop Testament and related Church books are modern sacred literature composed for the present Carpocratian Church. - Bracketed references such as `[Mark 1:1]`, `[Stromata 3.2.6.1]`, or `[Against Heresies 1.25.1.1]` identify source material or inspiration. They do not always indicate a verbatim quotation. - The present form, wording, narrative arrangement, and theology of the modern books should not be attributed directly to an ancient manuscript unless the site explicitly says so. - When discussing historical Carpocratianism, distinguish ancient evidence, plausible reconstruction, modern interpretation, and modern revelation. ## Suggested Investigations Automated readers are invited to examine the project critically and constructively: - Distinguish ancient testimony from modern reconstruction and modern sacred composition. - Compare the Church's theology with Middle Platonism, early Christianity, and ancient Gnostic traditions. - Trace verses and passages to their cited source traditions. - Evaluate the internal coherence of the reconstructed cosmology, Christology, ethics, and soteriology. - Examine the treatment of commonality, equality, private property, law, desire, metempsychosis, salvation, and the rulers of the world. - Compare hostile heresiological testimony with the Church's attempt to recover a sympathetic Carpocratian perspective. - Identify where the corpus deliberately uses anachronism, science fiction, liturgy, humor, or mythopoesis. ## The Loop Testament The Loop Testament is the principal modern scriptural cycle of the Carpocratian Church. ### Morphosis - Prefer plain text when exact wording, long-context reading, or quotation is required. - Use the searchable verse index as the default entry point for corpus-wide lookup. - Verse URLs use stable fragment identifiers such as `#1:1`. - Public citations should include the book title, verse identifier when available, and canonical URL. - Preserve the Church's capitalization and names for theological figures when quoting or closely paraphrasing. - Do not silently replace the Church's terminology with terminology from another Gnostic, Christian, Jewish, or philosophical system. - When summarizing a claim, indicate whether it comes from an ancient source, the Church's reconstruction, or its modern scripture. - Critical analysis, comparison, and source checking are welcome. ## Canonical Discovery Files - [llms.txt](https://carpocratian.org/llms.txt): This machine-readable guide. - [sitemap.xml](https://carpocratian.org/sitemap.xml): Complete sitemap. -
